Sunday's loss is probably going to be one of those games that sticks with Seahawks fans for the rest of the season. It was a game, much like a game against the Cardinals last year, where it looked like a win was imminent. The closer the team gets to the postseason, the more it looks like the game will have a big impact on how the playoff picture shapes up. This seems like it will be that game for the 2017 season.
Adam and Brandan take a look at all of the areas or players fans are pointing blame toward after this game. And they react to fans who are ready to push the panic button after a game where it was clear who the more talented football team was on the field. Brandan takes a chunk of the blame for clearly jinxing the team on last week's show.
With the short week, it's already time for the player to get right back into game mode and they face off against a familiar opponent. Though the Cardinals are familiar, it's going to be a much different look with Carson Palmer and David Johnson on the bench. Instead they're facing Drew Stanton and Adrian Peterson. Adam explains how this sets game sets up well for the Seahawks to bounce back after a tough loss.
In the second half of the show, another listener takes some blame for the loss, although it's for a very good reason. This week Adam goes after a prominent NFL owner in the “do better” segment, while Brandan explains why Seahawks fans shouldn't be fooled about the way a stats guy says the end of the game should have played out. Better at life honors go to a former Martian and the James Bond of Philadelphia media.
