The Seahawks came back to take the lead after being down two scores going into the fourth quarter against the New Orleans Saints. Unfortunately, it was the defenses inability to stop Taysom Hill from doing anything that showed up once again in the fourth quarter and allowed the go ahead score. There were some moments in the game where questionable calls played a part, and we discuss those too, but this was a game that the defense should have the ability to put away. Of course, special teams didn't help out the team in this game either. So, should we as Seahawks fans be upset with how this season is playing out? Or should we be content?
Seattle fans shouldn't be content with a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Don't be fooled by the close score against the Philadelphia Eagles last week, because this Cardinals team is not good. They deserve to be at the bottom of the division and so the Seahawks could and should be the ones to put them there. Seattle may not even be the second worst team in the division this season after seeing what's going on down in Los Angeles.
With that said, should playoffs be a consideration for Seattle this season? We get into it in the second half of the show. This week we have a tentative title for Adam's Garbage Time Picks. We're open to other listener suggestions going forward. Even knowing that he needed about 13 picks right, Adam couldn't take the lead. Instead it was a tie for the win this week in pick'em betwee Fant-astic Stalactit(e)s and Uncle Will's Mustache. Richard Sherman and the Seattle Mariners earned a spot in Better At Life.
