Earl Lockette joins the show to talk about his son Ricardo and his announcement to retire from football. Being a guy who coached his son in football, and considering Lockette was the best “gunner” in the game, we try and get to the bottom of where that term comes from.

Earl talks about one of Ricardo's plays that meant a lot to him and talks about how that particular play showed the mindset of many of the players on the team and the family atmosphere that Pete Carroll and the players have helped create.

Paul Gates, president of the Sea Hawkers Central Council joins the show to talk about the upcoming Sea Hawkers Annual Banquet. We also talk how about he became a Seahawks fan, and he tells a story about how he nearly cost his dad more than a thousand dollars because of his fandom.

Norb Caoili and Mark Collins talk about there 12s Helping 12s group and the upcoming Hawk Fest 2016 that will help raise funds for the efforts of that group.

Hawks Fest 2016 is coming up May 22, 2016, from 1-5pm at the Ballard Elks Lodge. There are a ton of events for the entire family and for all ages. Norb and Mark will bring their musical talents to the event as well.

Mark joins us for the first time to talk about the Save Our Seahawks movement back in 1995 when he put a lot of his own time and money into helping fight to keep the team in Seattle when it looked like the owner was intent to move the team to Los Angeles.

With the draft a couple weeks in the rear view mirror, we check back in to get the added perspective from Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog. Rob should get some credit for correctly predicting the Seahawks first pick, something that hasn't been done in a long time. Rob helps explain why the Seahawks saw a need for drafting three running backs and the special qualities each one provides.

While a lot of Seahawks fans feel as though Mark Glowinski showed enough in his opportunity as a starter that he could take Justin Britt's job, Rob believes Rees Odhiambo could be the one to win the job based off some early remarks and reactions from Tom Cable.

Rob also gets into some of the undrafted free agents and who he thinks could make the team. Finally, Brandon Browner is going to play a hybrid safety/corner/linebacker role. Rob talks about what that means for the defense.
