As we mentioned when we kicked this series off, we weren't going to get into the list of Hall of Fame players, well Kenneth Mason Easley should be a Hall of Famer. And you don't have to take our word for it, you can ask another one of the best safeties to ever play, and a member of the Hall, Ronnie Lott of the 49ers.
Mark Tye Turner, author of Notes from a 12 Man: A Truly Biased History of the Seattle Seahawks, joins us for the final show to share some of his memories of Easley and the 1984 season where Kenny earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. His 10 interceptions led the league and it helped lead the Hawks to the brink of winning their first AFC West title.
June 12 is the final day to vote for the Sea Hawkers Podcast in the 11th Annual Podcast Awards. A huge thanks to those of you who followed along and voted each and every day. June 26 is the announcement of the winner and we'll be sure and let you know as soon as we find out the results.
