Our Seattle Seahawks opened the season 1-0, defeating the New England Patriots 13-10 in a home-opener banner night that got a lot more complicated than expected. We break down Sam Darnold’s early hip injury and Drew Lock’s poised relief effort, Brian Fleury’s offensive game plan, and a dominant Mike Macdonald defense that turned away Drake Maye and the Patriots on the final drive. Uchenna Nwosu had a dominant performance up front, Ernest Jones led the team in tackles, and Josh Jobe came back and completely redeemed himself after pass interference set up the Patriots only touchdown.
